Hi Erwin, I guess I'm not surprised that SMS might be a problem, given the gateway is in the US (so international messaging could be a factor), but email should work. You do not need to use an alias f

GPS: 3D-FIX-No Fix ?
Yeah, "relentless" doesn't do it justice. I recently picked up one of the GNSS pucks, and it's deafness makes my old Garmin GPS-III look positively magical. It would only get a solid lock if positione

KWD TM-D710G connection to accept Davis VP2 output?
Ok, that's kind of what I was thinking. I also understood that Firenet is Read-only from the APRS Client perspective, yes? And CWOP is essentially Write-only? Interesting. Thanks! Greg KO6TH Lynn Deff

How is "CWOP" compared to / separate from "Firenet"? I get my random Wx data from there. Firenet.us, port 14580. Greg KO6TH KD7YZ Bob wrote:

I believe 0x1b is the "ESC" key. Control-[ also generates the same code on some keyboards, so perhaps it's a problem with fat-fingers. Greg KO6TH Lynn Deffenbaugh wrote:

Yep. MFJ-1278T in use here. Seems a waste to run it in KISS-1200 mode, given it's huge mailbox and added 2400bps modem, but such is progress... Greg KO6TH Brian Webster via groups.io wrote:

If you have a passcode for other APRS software to access (send to) the APRS-IS, it is the same for APRSISCE/32. Greg KO6TH Steve wrote:
