PK-232
I'm not familiar with the PK-232 specifically, but when things don't come back after a power outage, I look for configuration items that might not have been saved. Is the TNC's port configured for KIS

Hi Lynn, Maybe it's only between RF and IS; if a message comes in from RF and you reply, it goes out only to the RF port, no? Or, is everything also copied to IS, as well as RF if the station was hear

So, Rob actually brings up a more general question. If one has both APRS-IS and Firenet ports activated, which one does an IP-only client (e.g. smart phone) come in on? Random? It matters because if I

Ok, good to know. I think that will be sufficient, from what I'm seeing. By way of an update, I dug into the weewx source code (python), and found where it wrote out the wxnow.txt file. I've observed

Hi George, Thanks the the email; good to compare notes. I seem to have the local copy of the Wx object updating and displaying properly. I'm sending it out only on IS right now, with an interval of 1

Ha! Beacon Interval in the object itself was set to zero. Changed to 5 minutes. Looking good now, though I expect to see garbage (zeros) updates from time to time. Need to poke at the Wx software for

Hi Lynn, Ok, interesting. The object still shows enabled. If there was a collision between weewx and APRSIS32 (which over time is going to be inevitable), what happens? One can't be expected to keep r

Slight update (maybe enlightening)... I'm watching the wxnow.txt file, and it seems like weewx occasionally writes a line with all zero fields, followed a few seconds later with one that has valid dat

What are you using for the TNC function on your cell phone (and what sort of phone)? Just putting audio into the phone won't work with APRSdroid, will it? I didn't think it could do that. Greg KO6TH M

Setting up a KPC-3+ to work with APRSIS32
I'm really confused what the purpose of using AGWpe is. APRSIS* should be set up with the TNC connected to a COM port, configured in KISS mode (not SimplyKISS). Let APRSIS control the KPC+ in/out of K
