Dave: You could get a WiFi Range extender which has a Ethernet jack - I use one of these in my shed and connect the Ethernet on the range extender to a Ethernet switch to feed several wired devices.

Noel, I JUST changed the dedicated WIN XP desktop PC back to DHCP IP Address assignment, and once a new IP Address was assigned, lo & behold, the APRSIS32 software acknowledged the connection

I don't have a wired Ethernet connection path available for the dedicated APRS I-Gate PC.......That's why I am using the USB Wi-Fi adapter.
