Correct me if wrong but doesn't control-G only work for Rf gating? I think you want Configure > General, add filter. To modify IS stations.

Re: How to stop APRS-IS port from sending out beacons
I was looking for the connector that gets soldered into the FE-Pi for plugging into the Pi. I finally found it. I also found 2 more Fe-Pi boards that I forgot I had. That is exciting!

Bob,
A better means of figuring out filters is to read up on them and understand them rather than just copying examples.

Look at your raw packets. The info page may only show information on the last received packet, not just posits.

Re: How to stop APRS-IS port from sending out beacons
I just unchecked my APRSIS beacon box. It seems I operate much as you do.
I don’t currently see your symbol however on either aprs.fi or aprsdirect.com.
Examine my station-KF0ED.

How to stop APRS-IS port from sending out beacons
Hi folks,
I have both RF and IS ports enabled. I unchecked "Beacon" under APRS-IS port configuration.
Most of the time when I checked the APRS.FI I noticed "W3KIT>APWW11 via TCPIP*,qAC,T2MEXICO"

APRSIS settings for ISS
A few of us in the Vancouver BC area have been pushing APRS. Lately ISS is been coming up. Is there any setting in Path or anywhere else. I'm using a Mobilink TNC3 with a cheap HT normally on 144.390.
