Lynn,
I don't recall if I have logging enabled or not (probably not if it's not on by default and I didn't have a reason to enable it at some other time). Currently and possibly for a little while,

Do you have any *.PKT files in the default directory of the main APRSIS32 station? These files capture every packet received on an RF port, but only if Enable / Ports / Log All is checked.

Re: Not receiving RF
You will probably need to connect to the TNC using a terminal emulator. If I remember correctly, type KISS ON at the command prompt. The TNC will be in KISS mode until some other strangeness occurs.

Max,
You may have hit the nail on the head on both counts. The KPC has alway been rock solid and I was
surprised when it messed up. Robert is on top of it also. Right now I'm wornout from watching

I know Don is protecting his family and property but for the record, I suggest sticking with the "simple" TNC-X (MFJ1270X).
Then your only worry is the baud rate (jumper settings inside cover) and

Re: Not receiving RF
I think Robert touched on this already, so maybe OBE. I was having similar issues with my KPC-3 and it turned out to be a KISS/SIMPLY KISS issue. I set the KPC-3 in KISS mode and unbeknownst to me

Robert,
With Hurrican Ian almost on my doorstep I don't have much time to think about radio problems but here's
one thing I've learned. I loaded PinPoint APRS program and am having the same problems

Re: Not receiving RF
So, do you have it working?
If not, please provide some details so that we can help.
1) What TNC are you currently using? 2) How is it connected to the computer?
a) USB to serial adapter

I'm sorry Lynn but I don't understand any of your instructions. The areas you wanted me to check don't follow the same
path you provided, you might be using thr development version while I'm running

Re: Yaesu FT-70D
I think you will need the CT-44 microphone adapter to separate mic and audio and get it to your PC.
Or you will have to make a custom splitter cable separating the two.

Does anyone have a solution for hooking up this Yaesu handheld? I have a USB-57B cable from RT-Systems, but that doesn't appear to be what's needed.
