You could have just deleted the KD7YZ-1/D710 NickName instead of unchecking the boxes. There's a Delete button in the lower right corner of that box.

though I may have inadvertantly found the answer.
I am NOT sseing any7 more of the popup Follow screens come up.
I can now "Transmit", whatever trhat does.
I can have the radio actrually xmit the APRS

It isn't any "Screen" entry, it's the Nickname. You need to delete the nickname to eliminate the Follow behavior.
If you're trying to edit the XML file instead of using Screen / Labels / Nicknames

Look under Screen / Labels / NickNames and you should see one called KD7YZ-1. That nickname has MultiTrack Active selected which means that

Close and immediately restart did not stop it.
Immediately I start APRSISCE there is a beep and the D710G xmits and the Follow

See if you have a nickname declared for KD7YZ-1 that is causing it to do an automatic Multi-Track.
Or just close the unwanted "follow" Multi-Track window and immediately restart APRSIS32. This will

issues I have had is it seems much more difficult to receive ISS radio signals. Some years ago very easy, a basic j-pole is all I needed. I guess transmitter they replaced few years ago has much less

I am unable to STOP the incessant extra screen shows up everytime I see the local large digi-peater KG4 DVE -1
This all started today when I was ONLY seeing the beacon sent out by my DMR 2m radio

Configure / Beacon / Path... is where you can change the path.
And no, APRSIS32 doesn't support "profiles", but it does support multiple instances. Just put the .EXE into a new empty

Has anyone used this setup for ISS APRS? I have no issues running it locally on 144.390. I have to figure how to change the path to ARISS. Is there a way to have a profile for APRS and one for ARISS?
