Re: D74 with APRSIS32 won't transmit
First thing to check is whether you have write permission for /dev/ttyACMo.
Most serial devices belong to the "dialout" group (/etc/groups). Have you added your username to that group?
If that isn't

Hmm, if he sent a packet before a GPS has figured out its position, maybe it is temporarily located at 0,0.
Best regards,

Configure / Ports / NEMA brings up the choice of TCP/IP, BT, or COM, but I have to choose one (or hit X). No matter what I choose, NEMA Delay stays above the scroller, and the speed box above

Re: How to turn off GPS configuration?
I believe if you go to Configure / NMEA and blank out the port information it should go back to not trying to use it.

You should be able to disable APRSIS32 searching for the GPS with
>Menu >Enables >GPS
Uncheck that option, and the speed, satellites, etc aroundvvthe maps should go away.
I do think you need to

You most likely heard him direct rf but he probably had a misconfigure in his station with the wrong coordinates. I've seen a couple guys show up in Texas that were local to me just misconfigured.
