Coming back to IS to RF tickbox on the APRSIS port, tickbox which seemed to be redundant. It looks like I have the answer on the satellites section of the APRSIS32 manual, pg 138.

Roger Roger. I have started to read the manual, pen paper, highlighter..., good old studying, the best method, actually; there is some very useful info there. Also the Wiki pages.

I do not have the Wikilink to hand that shows the step by step set up of APRSIS, that would probably be more help than back and forth emails all day long?

The local ham radio associations that meet locally have no interest in HF. I ate lunch with a group and after several weeks I was eating at a table by myself.

Yes I have the internet. I used this years ago with great success. I moved and zoomed to get the street here in Durham NC
I went into GOOGLE and found it with some difficulty but got my pass code

I have deleted the zip file and moved the exe from the same folder to another folder.
Will see if I can download again and do the steps correctly.

1. Do you have internet (assumed yes if you downloaded the file), but it doesn't necessarily mean you have the proper access.

Are you absolutely sure you unzipped into a new empty directory and double-clicked the .EXE from within that directory? "Eliminated the zip file" doesn't really tell me anything about

Downloaded the software, eliminated the zip file and double clicked on the .exe file. Should I have added a filter to make it function correctly? It started blinking and flashing with no way to stop
