Are you connected to APRS-IS? The stations that scroll by initially as the map populates, do they have an asterisk (*) beside them? This would indicate coming from RF and not from APRS-IS.

OK, here's (probably) a dumb question. When I fire up APRSIS32, with my radio and TNC2 clone (MFJ1274) at first the map begins to populate with objects. as the session continues, eventually, all I see

If the digi function is your concern, what equipment are you using?
From your message, my guess is that your TNC or Radio (with built in TNC) is doing the digipeating and that is why you can't find

They don't complain because they understand that when it transmits it can't receive. The only thing is you can set it up to not transmit on the data channel when the voice channel is busy so it won't

My guess is you are going to want to useit for messaging, so you would need 2 way over RF at least. Not having itconnected to IS would cut things down as well. Or a fairly restrictive ISfilter would

If there is a GPS connected with the intent of yourposition out as well, then de-sense is a fact of life. The only way I knowaround it is to use a Kenwood D710 (I say D710 since the D700 is obsolete).

That is correct for many of the phone GPS's. That's one reason I haven't touched the ToDo yet, because I'm not sure it will even work out.

APRSIS32 will not digipeat by default, youneed to edit the XML file to get it to do that. So assuming you did a freshinstall and did not copy the XML for else where. Your set to go as far as thatis
