I have had problems with my Windows 10 laptop using Winlink.
Windows likes to shut down things when it thinks they are not used. It was shutting down the USB port to the TNC.
Maybe you have a similar

What version of APRSIS32 does About show you? If it is the general release from 2012, there are certain packets that can cause it to crash. If you upgrade to the latest development

Windows 10 but I have this program in the startup programs. I have verified that it autostarts when Windows boots. Windows is running but the program has stopped.

Mine has been running for months on a Windows 7 laptop in a docking station. What version of Windows are you running? Maybe Windows updates are rebooting the PC.

APRSIS shutting down
I frequently find that APRSIS has shut down when I go up to check on it. I have the PC on a UPS and the program autostarts if the pc reboots. I saw something in one post about running a development

Seems like the hotpots have bloomed and they're now sending two id packets ( w1aw-X and "w1aw X").
Resource discovery with APRS is good but now it's too many too often cluttering the heard

Did I test it? Yes, that's why I mentioned that you could test it yourself if you used APRSIS32 which includes a filter test capability, but only in a positive sense.

Did not work. Did you try it and it worked for you? See below as to the right orientation of the /a for a red diamond. Yes I am using SARTRACK but all programs have the filter box and is universal.

Nice map, but I don't think that's APRSIS32... If it was, you could test the positive filter with Control-G for a filter test. But here's what I think you need:
