You must make sure APRSIS32 is CLOSED when you edit the XML file and open it back up after saving the changed file. Otherwise, APRSIS32 will overwrite your changes when you close it.

To all,
Just in case any of you are wondering why the recent poll was posted about HF locator modes, I've been tinkering with JS8Call for use between myself, my son, and my son-in-law

Alright then. With the update to the Development version Things are finally working the way they should. In GNSS mode I'm getting a solid fix now with lots of satellites in use.

Re: More GPS stuff
You need to turn on "Development mode" in the XML file. It's a manual editing thing with a Notepad (not Word - must be a simple text file editor only), done while the program is NOT running.

Hi Lynn.
I am using version 2012/08/29. It is offering to update to 2012/08/30.
I have looked at the various download links on here and wikidot and see no reference to any 2019 versions.
regards, Roy

Since we determined that my earlier mentioned gps problems were a result of lack of signals to the internal gs in my Panasonic Toughbook I have acquired a new external USB unit with built-in antenna

The passcode provided will allow you instance of APRSIS32 to send data to the internet (APRS-IS), which includes the feeds to aprs.fi.

I use it all the time in new areas to see what voice repeater is recommended

It doesn't save the memories (as it could) but there is an APRS
technique supported by several radios to make current voice resources
available at the touch of a button.
