Whatever I 'configured', made the Scrolling list of stations and such, move from all along the Left-Side to a tiny are of the Upper-Left ... namely, there are 5 lines only.

Thanks Don. I have it figured out now Set My Position and then turn off the GPS.
I am new to aprs in general so still trying to get up to speed with aprsis32 with the D72. Tnx 73. mike

I have a D72. I don’t use the GPS settings. I drag the map to where I am.
Have you set the tnc for packet12 plus the D side of the band To TX
