Just restarted to get some data. The stations showing regular icons do have position data attached when I click on them.

Just guessing from the screenshot. But it looks like it hasn't been running very long. Probably most of the red dots are sitting at 0, 0 off of Africa. Maybe zoom out more and see if you can see anyone else.

Just a though:
  If you are still having issues you can rename your APRSIS32.XML to APRSIS32.bak before starting the program.
  You will have to put in your callsign and relocate yourself on the map, but APRSIS32 will create a fresh new XML.
   Clean start!

Afterward, you can use a file compare tool to see what the changes are and maybe determine what caused the issue.

I get my messages directly through email and typically respond the same way.

Looking through this topic and searching Groups.IO for such things as your name (Rose or Christopher Rose) or 'no symbols' did not get a thread that I could shed light on the request.

From memory, I believe you said you had a scroller full of stations, but no symbols on the map.
A few things:
1. Are the stations heard:
    a) RF?
    b) IS?
    c) Both?
2. Is there anything just to the right of the "zoom bar" next to the scroller?
    What are the settings of Menu >View?
3. What are the settings of Menu >Configure >Scroller?
4. Did you scroll out to see if they were outside the map boundaries?
5. Might they all have timed out?
    Is the scroller, scrolling?
6. What is the value in Menu >Configure >Screen >Symbol

Those are the items I can think of that may impact the viewing of symbols on the map.

Are you running a receive only station?
You are not hitting any IGATE.

I zoomed in on your area on my APRSIS32 instance and only see a couple stations:
   WB8AIX-B    TCP
   KB8RXT-H1  DMR
   NX8A-3         TCP
   KE8NKO-N    TCP
   K8DAC-BB    TCP

Sorry, I don't see anyone I can point to are RF in your area until you get south to Saginaw and there is an EOC.
West to Big Rapids before I see any RF stations.

Reversed Red- Yellow- Green - Scaled as above, but reverse video for callsigns that seem to be in your extra filter as a "buddy" (b/) or "friend" (f/). This may get some false positives until I add explicit Buddy and Friend filter configuration.

The only Green station in your screen shot is at Cedar Rapids, MN

Just a though:
  If you are still having issues you can rename your APRSIS32.XML to APRSIS32.bak before starting the program.
  You will have to put in your callsign and relocate yourself on the map, but APRSIS32 will create a fresh new XML.
   Clean start!

Afterward, you can use a file compare tool to see what the changes are and maybe determine what caused the issue.

Looking through this topic and searching Groups.IO for such things as your name (Rose or Christopher Rose) or 'no symbols' did not get a thread that I could shed light on the request.

From memory, I believe you said you had a scroller full of stations, but no symbols on the map.
A few things:
1. Are the stations heard:
    a) RF?
    b) IS?
    c) Both?
2. Is there anything just to the right of the "zoom bar" next to the scroller?
    What are the settings of Menu >View?
3. What are the settings of Menu >Configure >Scroller?
4. Did you scroll out to see if they were outside the map boundaries?
5. Might they all have timed out?
    Is the scroller, scrolling?
6. What is the value in Menu >Configure >Screen >Symbol

Those are the items I can think of that may impact the viewing of symbols on the map.

Just guessing from the screenshot. But it looks like it hasn't been running very long. Probably most of the red dots are sitting at 0, 0 off of Africa. Maybe zoom out more and see if you can see anyone else.

From memory, I believe you said you had a scroller full of stations, but no symbols on the map.
A few things:
1. Are the stations heard:
    a) RF?
    b) IS?
    c) Both?
2. Is there anything just to the right of the "zoom bar" next to the scroller?
    What are the settings of Menu >View?
3. What are the settings of Menu >Configure >Scroller?
4. Did you scroll out to see if they were outside the map boundaries?
5. Might they all have timed out?
    Is the scroller, scrolling?
6. What is the value in Menu >Configure >Screen >Symbol

Those are the items I can think of that may impact the viewing of symbols on the map.

Just a though:
  If you are still having issues you can rename your APRSIS32.XML to APRSIS32.bak before starting the program.
  You will have to put in your callsign and relocate yourself on the map, but APRSIS32 will create a fresh new XML.
   Clean start!

Afterward, you can use a file compare tool to see what the changes are and maybe determine what caused the issue.

Also, if the sending station does not include a symbol code (like a telemetry report) it will not be displayed on the map and the callsign text in the scroller will be black.

Hi,
I closed the program and turned off the computer. Got upset at it all. Some of the stations showed a station symbol, a car, a truck, etc. Some only showed a cross. The stations that did display a symbol did show position coordinates when clicked on. I will have to set it up and let it run again to get back the list. I wonder if some of the stations collected are from other data going by on the frequency. Winlink perhaps? Still to be determined. Some packet burst heard are very long duration. I have another radio on in order to hear if packet traffic is even being sent.
