Please define "unfollow"? I suspect you have configured a nickname that is set to bring up a MultiTrack or you told it to remember a MultiTrack when you closed it. For the former (nickname), locate it and either delete it or remove the checkboxes on the automatic MultiTrack. For the latter (remembered MultiTracks), simply close the
MultiTrack and restart APRSIS32. It will only re-remember it if
the MultiTrack is open when you close APRSIS32. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE

RF or -IS? On -IS, you can add -b/call-SSID which is a negated buddy filter. On RF, there is no blocking. Note that this doesn't block an -SSID, but a specific
callsign-SSID. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE

Re: Triggers

I wish! Then I could just release it! The current development version is same one that I run here and represents the latest version of the source. APRSISMO, on the other hand, is very out of date, but you can get
the latest "TestHost" from http://tinyurl.com/Get-APRSISMO and
using the "2019 Ride for Ronald" link instead of the "Tap here to
download". I really need to get that straightened out too! Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE

That should 'darken' your map.
Pressing the left arrow key makes it lighter, or 'faded'

Please see http://www.aprs.net/vm/DOS/SYMBOLS.HTM which documents symbol standards based on the -SSID for when the APRS packet doesn't contain any symbol information. This is also documented on page 93 in the APRS101.PDF specification. Not all APRS client applications implement the full
specification, but APRSIS32 does implement the symbol hierarchy. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE for Windows Mobile and Win32

Re: KAM-XL symbol (was: GPS Setup SOLVED)
Hi Randy. To be honest this is the 1st time I see this table, SSID defined icons! I didn't realise icons can be defined by the SSID in APRS. This is very useful in my case, "pure" GPGGA statements. I'll need to polish my APRS skills... he he. I am assuming aprs.fi has not implemented this feature, probably stn status conflicts etc? Many thanks.
I have tried SSID -4; truly, APRSISCE shows a bicycle; red dot in aprs.fi Regards and 73 de J, M0IPU YO3FCA

You're seeing a boat in APRSIS32 because the SSID -8 is a boat since there is no other indicator of symbol. APRS.fi is defaulting it to a red dot tho.. From the APRS spec: 73, Randy WF5X

Hi Lynn. Tnx for coming back on this one. The stn is M0IPU-8, a setup I was playing with on my KAM-XL. I am attaching couple of pics anyway. Re Red Dot, I have also read your Wiki doc on the subject, but I believe aprs.fi uses it for current location on iconless... stns/GPGGA statements. I am not 100%. I didn't go through their help files. Regards, J, M0IPU YO3FCA Note: I believe the Yahoo group link needs to be updated on Wiki

The first two lines may be a communication link or baud rate connection to your computer from the GPS. Once that function happens the gps is running and linked to your computer.

I can see you have got a Fix Quality of 2 in the GGA string which is very good. I am no expert in GPS, but I had to learn few things, forced by the hobby... I have experimented with Kantronics KAM-XL where you can find a similar setup, GPS wise. What I have noticed is that APRSISCE shows the KAM-XL GPS waypoins with a boat symbol (I am assuming it could because boats use a similar format in their positioning system?), aprs.fi on the other hand shows them correctly as waypoints (red dot). aprsdirect.com doesn't show them at all ( I learned aprsdirect.com doesn't show APRS Items either). aprs.fi won't show waypoints with a poor Fix Quality aka zero. Good luck and regards,73 de J M0IPU YO3FCA
