For the record, there is no charge for APRSISCE/32 and no "funds"
required for registration. I believe (hope) that Vince was
referring to some other program that requires "funds for
registration." Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE

Re: Trace-Port of KEND710-APRS has errors
Lynn Deffenbaugh
Error 5 opening a COM port is usually due to the fact that you have some other program running that "owns" that port. Make sure you've closed all other programs that are accessing COM4, presuming of course that COM4 is the port that you have connected to your D710.

Re: Contact author for login and passwords??
APRS.FI requires a logon to do some things like look at raw packets. Could that be what Vince, KD7TWW, is seeing?

APRSIS32 has no such screen or place to enter. When does that come up?
If you can grab a screen shot, that would help.

When the pop-up is showing, uncheck Enables, Frequency Monitor. Or when the pop-up is showing, right-click on its border and un-check "Enabled".

Re: Contact author for login and passwords??

Hi Vince, What it's probably asking for is your APRS-IS passcode. This is what authenticates you to the IS servers to allow your packets on the internet side. There are directions for each program on how to request a passcode- usually done through email. Hope this helps! 73, Eric K9LGE

And remember to edit the APRSIS32.XML to re-enable development

what you're after. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE

Redownload APRSISCE
Burt N Sammis
My computer recently crashed and I lost APRSIS/32.
I have a passcode so all I need is the address to redownload.
Thanks;

Proportional Pathing
Justin Cherington
Was proportional pathing ever implemented within APRSIS32? Seems to be the perfect setup for most mobile hams, especially while off road and whatnot. It would be even more awesome if one could customize the timing and path. Example: change the 1min DIRECT beacon to 2 minutes, and exclude the 2-2 beacon altogether or change it to every 60min. It is built into my FTM 400 but I would rather engage it via this application instead since I have it hooked up to the radio anyway. Thanks!
