Make sure View / All is checked.  I suspect you have the view filtered.

Also, you might want to right click on the Frequency Monitor window and disable it, unless you really want it showing up.

Thanks Randy,

It shows up every 2-3 days,
so my SWAG would be a misconfiguration and an emergency situation likely doesn't exist

Re: Unwanted Follow-Me window

I actually use the Special status for trackers and other stations during public service events.

It's easy to filter to show only stations with that status at net control to focus on them if there is other APRS activity in the area. (View/Mic-E/Special)

I only run that status during events, but not everyone bothers to reconfigure their status (and I suspect many don't even know what it is or how or why to change it)

Re: RSGB: Stop the 2 Meter Band (144-146MHz) being taken away from Radio

I first heard about this loss on QRZ, also includes 1240 MHz,
https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/144-and-1240-mhz-bands-%E2%80%93-rsgb-information.663438/

My initial impression is very little concern, if it was HF spectrum then that thread would be pages long. In the big picture I can see VHF being allocated to other users, very little traffic on the 2-meter band though 144.39 is very busy. On the other hand most wireless users have little interest in spectrum below 500 MHz (i.e. 5G with all the highspeed data).

This sounds more like a “SIGN IN TO RECEIVE FREE ROBOCALLS FOR LIFE” deal.

Just like the sign up to win a free car deals they used to have at the local malls.  Someone won the car ok, but all of them gave away their personal information to an ad agency who sold them as mailing lists back before the internet.

As Robert Heinlein said, “There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.”

Theres also a discussion happening on RadioReference about this. France is looking to take away the spectrum for aeronautical use. A lot of people say that it's a bad idea as quite a few amsats downlink in that spectrum. https://forums.radioreference.com/threads/france-proposes-144-146-mhz-for-aeronautical-mobile-service.389855/

Well I visited the RSGB website and found this:
https://rsgb.org/main/blog/news/gb2rs/headlines/2019/06/28/latest-news-on-vhf-spectrum/

and then asked Mr. Google and found this.
http://www.arrl.org/news/no-strong-opposition-to-144-146-mhz-reallocation-proposal-at-cept-meeting

So there is something to it, but I rarely just click a link with little to no background information explaining why I need to support them.?? Do your "Due Diligence".
