Re: UIFLOOD bubbling up?

Golden Packet is coming up on July 22. This is what my use of UIFLOOD will be.

The other option is to find someone with a D710 to borrow for the day.

Sounds to me like part of moving the digipeater support to be port
specific. Keep after me as I make noises of working in that area, but
it won't be until after I get a general release of the GPX stuff out the
door. I need to finish the popup menu actions on Overlay-created
objects, especially including Driving a route/track. I'm hoping the
FreqSpec stuff will be stable enough that I can remove some of my trace
logs before general release as well, or I might just conditionalize them
on Development.

Different versions complain about different things. The latest version will show the box and in the popup menu will be at least one detected Issue with the packet. It'll be *SomeThing* at the end of the interpreted frequency information in both the menu and the station info popup.

1.  SSID of the APRSISCE must be different from D710.

I know that this is good practice, but tried with the same SSID and
beaconing disabled in APRSISCE. It didn't work even for
Screen -> Follow -> Locked enabled.
When changed APRSISCE SSID and started to follow D710 on the map
it worked fine.
I run in APRS mode all the time, and have no issue keeping the map
centered on ME with the same callsign-SSID, or different
callsign-SSIDs in the two units.

Well, at least in good APRS coveradge area where my D710 received
it's position packets digipeated by local DIGIs. In tjis case position on
the map was updated as often as beaconed.
So that tells me that you weren't centered on ME, which uses the
incoming GPS data to keep the map centered on where you are, but you
were centered on a station that was being heard over RF. ie, if you
set the callsign of the D710 to SQ5NWI-1 and then center on SQ5NWI-1,
the map will jump around as you describe. Same thing happens if you
center on any other station from the list.

From that moment I followed ME with map moving and in paralell
my D710 SSID station position updated just when digipeated
packets were received back.
That's the way it is supposed to work.

My APRSISCE/32 show KC2NYU-7 at 31 56.93N 81 02.03W as of 2 minutes ago.  You sure your APRSISC32 instance received a recent update for the -7 station?

Re: TH-D72A Sending Wrong Position ??

Unfortunately I don't have a D72, so other users will need to pipe up here. Here is a link to port configuration on the WIKI.

I recommend reading this as well:

It will be similar. It explains more than I know.

Certainly use a different SSID for the radio and APRSIS32. Not only is this HIGHLY recommended, it can help debugging.

Was Gene talking about his object K9ORU/R or your station? His object does have a box around it (see below). Your station, N9SZV, looks fine.

Maybe his is what he meant.

Re: TH-D72A Sending Wrong Position ??

Fred Hillhouse

What mode is the D72 in? How old is the data you see for your HT?

The curious in me is asking why are you suing AGWPE? Can't you connect the HT directly to APRSIS32? If the HT is in PACKET mode, can you use KISS in APRSIS32 and have it work?

I haven't seen a packet from your HT in awhile. Is it still running?

But what's interesting is as George noticed, kc2nyu-7 is reported correctly
