I have a siglink usb for main and use the internal tnc for sub-band radio.
Found I have to use the menu command and turn the tnc off and repower radio
to run JT mode ( frequency remote control over

Ok, given those <OpenCmd>s, you have a KISS-type port and not a Simply(KISS) port.
Was the TS-2000 TNC in Packet mode before you enabled the port or started APRSIS32? Kenwood's

If the TS-2000 internal TNC is the same as other Kenwoods, then Simply(KISS) isn't going to do it for you as that port type expects the TNC to be lcoked into KISS mode. Try disabling that

And the com port itself into the device manager. All 3 needs to be the same.
Or the driver have change with a Window update. Happen a lot of

Good luck in finding the problem and I can confirm it's a pain... Try looking to see if a driver has changed, assuming it's Windows who change drivers when they do an update !!!!?

First thing I look at with the TS2000 when it goes weird is the Com port communication speed. Sometimes it gets changed for some gremlin type reason.

I have used my Kenwood TS-2000 with any problems, now it will not Transmit and I can hear it receive packets but does not show or transmit. I have the port enabled I heave beaconing enabled. I know

Ok so far. Set Antenna height to 20 ft above Terrain. I saw I had beaconing enabled in both the software and the radio. I turned off the beacon in the software. It should cut down the number of

Alternative, ensure the beacon on the D710 is OFF and it will also stop the ping pong and allow the radio to display APRS information. I use this successfully in a mobile application

Actually, the suggestion for fixed stations is just WIDE2-1 unless you really need two hops to get further afield in your local RF environment.

BTW, are you really at 1,280 feet above the average terrain (not above sea level)? That's what your PHG is saying which is giving you a range of 63 miles.
