s//Q is the proper symbol. I added that to my filter and haven't
gotten flooded with BrandMeister but DO have quakes showing up. A
quick test filer shows the following source of earthquake symbols
WinMain:2020-05-01T22:38:42.099 IS[Firenet](Hit(s//Q)) YM2UDM>APNU19,QUAKE7-7,qAR,TA1KC:;012126-01*012126z3423.12N\02522.78EQM=3.2 AKDENIZ GIRIT ADASI ACIKLARI
WinMain:2020-05-01T22:39:17.201 IS[Firenet](Hit(s//Q)) YM2UDM>APNU19,QUAKE7-7,qAR,TA1OSN:;011101-01*011101z4212.95N\02451.84EQM=4.6 BULGARISTAN
WinMain:2020-05-01T22:40:00.412 IS[Firenet](Hit(s//Q)) YM2UDM>APNU19,QUAKE7-7,qAR,TA1OSN:;012126-01*012126z3423.12N\02522.78EQM=3.2 AKDENIZ GIRIT ADASI ACIKLARI
Interesting that they also show up on the APRS-IS, so YM2UDM must
be injecting them into the main network. Or not using the
"firenet-only" port on a firenet server.
Checking these object locations puts them around the
for name-searchable lists of symbols. Or http://www.aprs.org/symbols.html
for a more verbose description.

I think \Q is the default symbol for BrandMeister.

Ok, if you have Lightning already displayed, that means
you're connected to firenet. So the only thing you need
to add is s//Q which is the symbol for Earthquakes. This
gets appended to your Config / General / Additional Filter
setting. The s is a symbol filter, the nothing between
the two slashes means nothing selected from the primary
symbol table and the final Q is the earthquake symbol from
the alternate table.
Living on the sand in Florida, it's been a long time
since I was curious about the earthquakes! Maybe I'll add
it to my test APRSISMO instance which is drawing from
firenet and is otherwise (relatively) uncluttered.
