The ARCDXC Amateur Radio Club is a group of licensed amateur radio operators, and their families, who enjoy not only the hobby of amateur radio but also work to promote the hobby by teaching, mentoring, and encouraging other radio amateurs.
This is an international amateur radio group, with members from all over the world gathered together to promote ham radio interests and international relations. Keep in mind that what is illegal in some countries may be legal elsewhere, so consider the source country of the original post before commenting. We may share regulations as information and guidance, but we must remain respectful of others. Please consider the cultural differences in different parts of the world, especially those who have a challenge with English – be kind and considerate.
We respect each other’s choice of equipment (regardless of cost or country of manufacture), mode of operating, level of experience, and even occasional discussion about CB as it relates to ham radio. We know many hams started out with CB radios. It isn’t required to be licensed to join the group, but to be approved to join, you must have an interest in ham radio. Before approving any posts we try to be sure it has something to do with ham radios or amateur radio technology. Be considerate if not everyone knows proper terminology or concepts, or misspells words, or even capitalizes all their letters. Our members range from young teens to senior with diverse backgrounds, ideas, experiences, education and writing style – be tolerant of others. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Posts, comments and content should be suitable for all ages and not contain profanity or other objectionable images or language. If you shouldn’t do something ‘on the air’ please don’t do it in our group. Please remember that we are ambassadors of goodwill and promoting good amateur radio practices in all our actions. As with the rules above, any comments violating these rules will be deleted without notice and abusive members will be muted and/or removed from the group.
When applying for membership, please make sure your display name includes your callsign.
