I'm signed up attend the clinic this upcoming weekend and have read over the program manual. I'm a beginner and have eager to learn formation but I feel like I should be more prepared before joining, especially in terms of knowing the types of formation, hand signals, calls, etc. I was wondering how much of this covered during the training. The last thing I want to do is to endanger others by not knowing what to do and when to do it. I understand that I will have someone in the plane with me but I really want to be as prepared as possible. I've searched the internet and just can't find additional information about FFI pre-requisites other than the flying part. I've been flying my RV7 for 5 years with about 1200 hrs. Fairly good stick and rudder guy and very open minded and want to learn more. So I'm not worried about the flying part as much as the procedures, signals, lingo, etc.
Would appreciate any guidance from you. Please feel free to call me or I can call you if that is easier than email.

The 2019 Pine Bluff Formation Clinic group site is ready. It will be the last weekend in October at Pine Bluff, AR (KPBF). As always, join the group and read all about it. More information is in the files section. If you decide to participate
go to the database and enter your pilot information. Joining the group does not sign you up for the clinic. Entering your information in the database is how you sign up. Here is a link to the site:
